Mother’s Day Style Guide

Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 11th, a beautiful moment to celebrate the incredible women who hold our families together with love, grace, and endless care.

Of course, the day can come with a little pressure: is brunch planned, do the kids have something to wear, are we heading to the city for a fancy dinner and oh, are we going to look cohesive as a family, or is everyone doing their own thing? While getting dressed shouldn’t really matter (because it’s never about the size of the plans, but the heart behind them), if you’re a stylish mom who loves to romanticize her life and feel beautiful on Mother’s Day, this post is for you.

I’ve pulled together a list of looks that are perfect for Mother’s Day and timeless enough to carry you into summer and other special occasions.

For my own look, I chose something a little warmer (because Chicago still has a chill in the air!), and we created a sweet little setup that anyone can recreate at home.

A handful of blush roses, croissants and chocolates, my favorite Lenox Butterfly Garden Tea Set, and a few HomeGoods finds turned into a table that felt simple, chic, and most of all filled with love.

Fun fact: Even YSL’s 2025 Mother’s Day Campaign (which just came out today!) was set in a garden, showing that it’s often the small, thoughtful gestures that mean the most.

Here’s to celebrating the moms we love with warmth, intention, and a little everyday magic.
